Mid-City New Orleans: Vote Yes for the Mid-City Security District

Mid-City is such a wonderful New Orleans neighborhood to live and work in. We now have the opportunity to make it even better by voting for our own local security district, the same as other neighborhoods have, including those in Uptown, Lakeview and the Lakefront.

The cost is nominal: $200.00 per residential parcel and $300.00 per commercial, added to our yearly property tax.

The organizers promise to use off-duty NOPD officers, so not only will the district have highly trained patrols, but ones with arrest powers as well.
The district boundaries are as follows: City Park Avenue to the North to Moss Street, Moss Street along Bayou St. John to Orleans Avenue, Orleans Avenue to Broad Street, Broad Street to Tulane Avenue, Tulane Avenue to I-10, I-10 to its intersection back at City Park Avenue.

Vote November 4th for the Mid-City Security District!
